- 1/2 cup burgundy wine
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- Salt and black pepper
- Sour cream crème fraiche, or greek-style yogurt (optional)
- Fresh chive sprigs (optional)
