- 1/4 cup (60 grams) sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons whole milk, plus more for brushing on the dough before baking
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces and brought to room temperature, plus more for buttering mixing bowl and baking pan
