- 1 small butternut squash – peeled, deseeded and cut into small cubes
- 1 large sweet potato, peeled and cut into small cubes
- 6 cups vegetable stock
- 28 ounces good quality chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup fresh frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1/2 cup small dried pasta shapes – stars/orzo/ditalini (optional)
