- 250g spaghetti
- 500g beef ribs
- 200g dried haricot beans ( soak overnight )
- 400g canned tomatoes ( or 4 large tomatoes diced )
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 inch galangal, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 large red onion, finely sliced
- 1 red chilli, chopped
- 1 tbsp coriander
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- a small bunch of coriander leaves
- 1 lemongrass stalk
- few sprigs of thyme, rosemary, tarragon and basil
- salt to season
- 2 tbsp olive oil
