- 3 garlic cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 egg yolks
- (good quality) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- For the fritters
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup masa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sweet corn kernels, heated in the microwave for 1 minute
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely diced
- 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
- 3/4 cup water
