- 2 tablespoons Crema, recipe follows, creme fraiche, or sour cream
- 1 avocado, peeled and sliced
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
- 2 small bunches watercress, trimmed, washed and dried
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- Scant 1/2 cup vegetable shortening (3 1/2 ounces)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
