Ingredients
- 1 onion, peeled and chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
- 3 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 green or red peppers (or a combination), diced
- 2 15 oz. cans black beans or kidney beans, with juice
- 2 28 oz. can whole tomatoes in juice
- 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 3 Tb. chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon organic unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1-2 ounces 60-70% dark chocolate, grated- optional, mixed in before serving
