Buttered Pecan Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons salted butter (the best quality - i.e., imported) you can find!
- 4 ounces jumbo whole pecan halves
- 3 cups creamline (whole) milk
- 2/3 cup organic dark brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 2 extra large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Bourbon Madagascar vanilla extract (I use Nielsen-Massey)
- 1 cup heavy cream
