Grilled Miso Glazed Fish Sandwich with Asian Slaw Miso Dressing
Ingredients
- Marinate the fish
- 1 cup sweet white miso paste
- 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 1/4 cup sake
- 4 6-ounce fish fillets (such as mahi, tilapia, sea bass, or black cod)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 4 buns, halved and toasted
- Make the dressing, slaw, & cook the fish
- 1 2-inch piece fresh ginger
- 3 tablespoons white miso
- 2 tablespoons unseasoned rice vinegar
- 1-1/2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1-1/2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/8 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1-1/2 tablespoons minced ginger
- 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2-1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/8 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced napa cabbage
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green cabbage
- 1/2 cup julienned carrots
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced bok choy
- 1/4 cup julienned green onions
- 8 wonton skins, sliced and fried
