- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature, plus more for pan
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs plus 3 large egg whites
- Confectioners' sugar, for dusting
- Borage or other edible flowers, for garnish
