- 2 tablespoons brandy
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (16 1/4 ounces)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup sugar (3 1/2 ounces)
- 4 tablespoons melted butter (2 ounces)
- 1/4 cup milk (2 ounces)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 quarts vegetable or peanut oil
- For the Cinnamon Sugar :
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
