Ingredients
- 2 medium firm green tomatoes
- 1 cup milk (or buttermilk)
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus 1 tsp if needed
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated parmesan
