Ingredients
- 2 cups pistachios in their shells (or 1 cup pistachios without shells), divided
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon rose water (I use Cortas brand)
- 7/8 cup sugar (i.e., 1 C less 2 T)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 3 cups flour
- a few pinches turbinado sugar (sugar in the raw)
