Lemon Tea Cake

- 2 tablespoons grated lemon zest (from 2 lemons)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 3/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- For the glaze
- Juice of 2 large lemons
- 1/3 cup sugar
