- 2 pounds grass-fed ground beef
- 1 cup red onion, peeled, stemmed and diced
- 1 cup carrots, peeled, stemmed and diced
- 1 cup celery, stemmed and diced
- 1 cup green string beans, stemmed and diced
- 1 cup red, orange or yellow bell pepper, stemmed, seeded and diced
- 1 cup button mushrooms, stemmed and diced
- 3 pounds of red or yellow potatoes, peeled
- ½ cup grass-fed salted butter or ghee
- ¼ cup raw, grass-fed, grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 4-5 garlic cloves, peeled, stemmed and mashed or pressed
- 1 tbsp. Herbes de Provence
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- ½ tsp. ground cumin seeds
- ½ tsp. ground coriander seeds
- Himalayan salt (adjust to taste)
- lard, duck fat or other animal fat (preferably free-range, organic)
