- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup confectioners sugar, plus more for tossing
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- zest of half an orange
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups ground pecans
