maple syrup smoked pecan tart
Ingredients
- 1 9" pie shell or 8" deep tart shell
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon dry rub or ground chili
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 3 large eggs at room temperature
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 2/3 cup maple syrup-preferably grade "b"
- 1 1/2 cups smoked pecan halves
