- 500 gram Lamb stew meat (preferably shoulder, cut into chunks)
- 1 Large, Onion, finely chopped
- 1,5 cup Fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 cup Fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 cup Fresh chives or green onions, chopped (or Persian tareh if available)
- 1 cup Fenugreek leaves (fresh or 2 tbsp dried)
- 4 Whole, Dried limes (limoo amani), pierced
- 1,5 cup Cooked kidney beans (or canned, rinsed)
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- To taste Salt and black pepper
- 2_3 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 3 cup Water or beef broth
