Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups chopped fresh kale or 2 cups baby spinach leaves
- 1⁄2 cup whole wheat pasta (I use 1 cup penne)
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1⁄4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (may be to hot for kids)
- salt & pepper, to your liking
