- 1/4 cup dark rum
- Confectioners' sugar and fresh mint sprigs, for garnish, optional
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon fine salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
