- Cajun seasoning, to taste
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 roma tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 2 fresh thyme sprigs, leaves only, chopped
- 1 dried turkish bay leaf
- 2 cups sliced okra
- Hot cooked rice (cooked with butter and salt)
- Chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Chives or scallions, sliced (optional)
