- 5 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs, cubed
- ~1/4 cup Frank’s hot sauce, divided
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2–3 cans of corn (depending on how much corn you like in your chowder)
- 1 potato, peeled and diced small
- 1 1/2 cups cream
- 2 1/2 cups chicken stock
- Salt and pepper, taste
