- 1 recipe Hungarian braised mushrooms, below

- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- several dashes of liquid smoke
- 1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 red bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 3 quarts button mushrooms, whole or cut in half or quarters for large bite sized pieces
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 4 cups vegetable stock
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
