- 1 cup kimchi , drained and chopped
- 1 cup chopped curly kale , stems removed
- 4 green onions , sliced into 1/4-inch slices, white and green parts separated
- 1/4 cup kimchi juice
- 3 cups day-old, cold rice
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce , or to taste
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
- Toasted sesame seeds , to garnish
