- 8 ounces each ground pork, veal and beef
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Locatelli or Parmesan
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 to 3 slices salami
- 3 hard-cooked eggs, halved
- 2 to 3 slices provolone
- 2 to 3 slices ham
- 1/2 cup ketchup diluted with 1/4 cup water
- Bread crumbs to taste
