- 1 (28-oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 8 cups chicken stock
- 1 (16-oz) can navy beans, drained & rinsed
- 1 (15.5-oz) can cannellini beans, drained & rinsed
- 1 bay leaf
- ½ cup chopped fresh parsley
- 8 oz. ditalini pasta
- ¼ cup chopped fresh basil (plus more for serving, if desired)
