- 1/2 medium onion, chopped medium
- 4 medium carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 pound grass-fed ground beef
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons organic all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup whole milk
- 8 ounces frozen sweet peas
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- For the Topping:
- 7 ounces shredded cheese (sharp cheddar is very good)
