- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 1 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup toffee bits
