- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Thyme Leaves
- 1 clove Garlic, Pressed Or Minced
- 1 cup Beef Stock
- Salt And Pepper
- FOR THE MASHED POTATO LAYER:
- 2 pounds Yukon Gold Potatoes, Peeled And Cut Into Large Cubes
- ½ cups Heavy Cream
- ¼ cups Milk
- 3 Tablespoons Butter, Softened Or Melted
- 1 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
