Orange Cardamom Shortbread
Ingredients
- 2.5 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon finely ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- zest from two oranges, finely chopped
- 1 cup cold butter, cut into dice sized pieces
- 2 teaspoons plus 2 teaspoons orange flower water
- 1 egg beaten with 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 cup extra fine sugar
