- 1.10 lb udon (frozen kind recommended)
- 2 cups cremini mushrooms (thinly sliced )
- 1 cup heavy cream (or sub with evaporated milk or 18% table cream but simmer it longer)
- 1/3 cup onion (thinly sliced )
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 tbsp butter (unsalted)
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce (or sub with vegetarian oyster sauce)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (or as needed)
- 1 green onion (finely chopped for garnishing)
- 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds (optional garnish (or sub with regular toasted sesame seeds))
