- 1 tablespoon Canola or other neutral oil
- 1/4 cup Finely chopped shallot (about 1 large shallot)
- 2 Cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon Minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup Golden raisins
- 4 Medium apples (I used fuji), peeled, cored, and sliced (about 3 ½ - 4 cups)
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
