Whiskey Sausage Apple Stuffing
Ingredients
- 4 c. diced apples
- ½ c. raisins
- 1½ c. apple juice
- 2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh sage
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1½ c. butter
- ¼ c. whiskey
- 8 sausage links, chicken, turkey, or pork, about 2 ounces each
- 8 c. cornbread stuffing
- 1½ c. pecans
