- 4 cups milk
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 18 cups loosely packed cubes of stale bread, crusts removed
- 3/4 cup golden raisins
- 1 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Butter
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 cup bourbon
