- 3 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 tbsp lemon zest (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
