- 1 cup Pigeon Pea Lentils
- 1/2 cup Red Lentils or Masoor
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp Sambar powder
- 1 cup Brinjal cut lengthwise
- 1 cup Drumsticks cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup Carrots thinly cut
- 1 cup French Beans cut into long pieces
- 1 cup Okra cut into two each
- 10 Shallots
- 3 Tomatoes finely chopped
- FOR THE TEMPERING
- 2-3 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1/8 tsp Asafoetida
- 3-4 Dry Red chillies
- 2 Sprigs Curry Leaves
- 2-3 Garlic cloves sliced
