Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups fresh pineapple (volume in small chunks, can also use frozen, defrosted and chopped)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp corn starch (corn flour)
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour (plain flour)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp sugar (can use brown sugar, if you prefer)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (cut into chunks)
- 1/4 cup milk (cold (can use water))
- 1 egg (note hold some egg white back to glaze)
