Creamy mushroom and wine sauce
Ingredients
- 2 shallots or 1 small onion
- 175 g (6oz) button or cup mushrooms
- 150 g (5oz) mixed wild mushrooms (see tip)
- 30 mL (2tbsp) oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 150 mL (1⁄4 pint) white wine
- 200 mL (7fl oz) tub crème fraîche
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 10 mL (2 level tsp) chopped fresh thyme
