- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 yellow onion (chopped)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
