- 2 lbs beef stomach (tripe) with fat removed
- 1/2 lb pork sausage
- 1 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 medium size potatoes cubed
- 2 medium size carrots cubed
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 dried bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for sauteeing
