Ingredients
  • 1 napa cabbage, washed and shredded
  • 2 inches of peeled fresh ginger chopped
  • 3 large garlic cloves chopped
  • 15 mint leaves, shredded
  • 6 green onions green only slivered
  • 1/4 red onion sliced in thin strips
  • 1 fresh red bell pepper cut in strips
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef, cooked, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp of white rice, dry toasted in a pan, ground in a mortar and pestle
  • Dressing
  • 3 tbsp of lime juice
  • 2 tbsp of lemon grass paste (buy it!! in produce)
  • 2 tbsp of fish sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp of tamarind paste
  • 2 packets of splenda or 2 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp of crushed dried red thai chili pepper
  • 1 tbsp of water to thin out dressing
